So many of the gaming consoles designed in the 80’s shared a common design feature - stripes. This often overlooked detail embodied technology and the future at that time. Polymega proudly wears that design detail as a nod to old-school consoles and carries the vision forward for a new way to play 16-bit games.
modularity
At launch, Polymega will support Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega, and TurboGrafx systems. Each removable module allows for specific console cartridges and original wired controllers to be used. The modules slide in from the front to connect to the base console, but the part breaks between the two are hidden inside the stripes, keeping the overall design clean and intentional.
